Choosing Solar Powered Lights

A few years back, my husband and I moved to the country to build our own house. Plots of land were relatively cheap on the east coast of England, so we went ahead. We had considered different possibilities of building a house or converting an existing one. We looked at a number of old, run down properties which needed refurbishment but there was so much work to do on the roof, the wiring or the plumbing, that it would have been easier to knock it down and start again in many cases. Consequently we decided to go for a new build and, having taken that decision, we started looking at ways we could make the build more eco friendly. We looked at a number of solar energy products but found that many are simply too expensive to start out with. So in the end we just went with solar powered lights and we’re very pleased with that.
